BOYS CRY is a duo of Italian electronic musician Gianluca Elia and Polish drummer Szymon Gasiorek, both based in Copenhagen. When performing together, the drums are amplified with contact microphones and connected to Elia's no-input mixer, which he is playing alongside Supercollider software. Their self-titled debut album has been recorded on a 4 channel tape by Jonatan Uranes, who was asked to press ● and ■ freely and spontaneously. In that way he is responsible for the form of the chopped up, improvised pieces.
